12/12 saturday event training
Second week on the 5-3-1 cycle. I had to adjust my deadlift downward cause the saturday work is just killing my deadlift. It feels like I have went backwards 80lbs. on deadlift. But maybe this week will start to come back.
We were kind of snowed in today so did an inside workout.
1) 10" log press work

160x5
200x5
220x7 PR but I really wanted 8, I think my lungs got too tired I was strong enough for it.
2) Tire work one flip back and forth between 2 people until failure
350lb. tractor tire did something like 20 reps maybe, just a warmup
750lb. tire went in for 8-9 reps
1100lb. tire did about 10 reps on first rotation and 5 on the next. Seemed to learn better technique with it after all those reps.
That's it for today, still got some ok work despite being stuck inside.
