In the past few years of getting into strongman we have had stones from 240 and the next biggest one up is at 335 so 240 is always easy for me but never quite managed a stone over 300 before. Tried many times over the past 2 years and denied over and over again I was becoming accustomed to the failure and frustrated with progress on these. That is what made hitting this so rewarding. The biggest stone I've ever handled before was a 270 stone so this is a really big jump for me and with hardly any practice leading up to this I finally got it!
Highland games this weekend. This was a very fun event, throwing with some good guys. My biggest improvements were in my braemar stone and my sheaf has improved about 2 feet. Here's a good shot of me with the caber.
